    Hi

    A few days ago I received a text message from a mate. Every day I'm getting the same message sent to me, one day I was beside him and i received the same message. When you go into his messages it only says he sent the message once.

    I think it's some settings on one of the phones but no idea how to turn it off.

    He has an iPhone and I'm on android.

    Any help with this greatly appreciated.

    Is he using the default iPhone text message app or some third party app? I believe default app is iMessage.

    Has he requested a delivery confirmation for the message, if so does he receive the delivery confirmation multiple times?

    Has he tried to delete the message from his sent items to see what happens?

    he is using the default message app,

    he hasn't requested a delivery confirmation,

    will get him to delete the message and see if that helps.
