Electric Lawnmower Repair

    Does anyone know who could repair an electric lawnmower? The motor is working but the blade isn't turning.

    I rang a couple of places but they only fix petrol mowers (Lawnmower Man and Mower-Power).

    That's strange as the blade is just attached directly to the motor shaft, has the centre bolt simply loosened?

    You might be able to pick up a barely used one 2nd hand for the same price as repairing it. Depending on how expensive the mower.

    The bolt seems ok. I was thinking that the drive belt might have snapped.

    Probably has some plastic pulley or gears that have shredded.
