Is it legal for one car to tow another?

    Maybe it was a situation like those trains in the US that have multiple engine cars

    Both cars were such sh!tboxes that they couldn't get up to speed by themselves so they had to work together 😂

    Seriously, I think it's one of those situations which is supposed to be avoided but is tolerated by the authorities.

    Ideally everyone would call a tow truck, but when Mick down in Kerry slides into a ditch then it's probably more practical to call one of his mates to drag him out that wait all day for a recovery truck

    It's scary towing and being towed in a car, that said on a motorcycle it's quite an experience.

    something you used to see quite often, but I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a car on a tow-rope.

    I guess recovery services are a lot better now

    And most drivers can probably count on one hand the number of times they've towed a car, or been towed, so they probably decide that turning a breakdown into a potential crash isn't worthwhile
