Does anyone remember/remember the name of the gadget shop in the Ilac Centre, near the Parnell entrance, on the left and around a small corner as you went in? It was there in the 90s I think, and I remember spending a lot of time every Saturday playing one of the early chess computers that they had on the counter.

There was a shop literally called "The Gadget Shop" upstairs in the Jervis Centre. It must have opened around 1999 and was there for a several years. I think it was gone by the mid-naughties.

Perhaps there was a similar shop in the Ilac, but I don't remember it.

No, peats was across the road on Parnell Street. I remember the shop in question, was on the left as you walked in the entrance off Parnell Street. Was there a Q in the name?
