GLS Parcel Insurance Ghosting

    I'm just wondering if anyone else has had problems with GLS parcel insurance claims?

    I booked GLS through Parcel Direct to deliver a well-packed guitar to the Netherlands last September. Fully insured, so when it arrived with a snapped neck, Parcel Direct told me to lodge a claim, but it might take up to 12 weeks to process.

    Countless phone calls and emails later, GLS are simply ignoring the claim. I mean literally ignoring it, no replies, no explanation, no nothing. I even wrote to the Irish MD in Dublin..no reply.

    Parcel Direct say there's nothing they can do. I'm on the verge of giving up.

    Do GLS do this regularly, and if so, how can they get away with it?
