Hi all. I see on some of the topic discussions it is often mentioned that certain channels are testing on x transponder at x frequency. Various providers presumably do tests at different times.

Im just wodnering how do you folks know this? - is there some way you monitor channel frequencies etc or scan for test channels? or how does this work?

    Thanks

Flysat, Lyngsat and King of Sat carry daily satellite news, but it is for a lot of satellites. If you go to the satellite at 28.2 East, and search for "test" you will see any tests reported. Not many recently, and some of the listings are probably out of date.
