Has anyone used this product? I saw an ad and video for it. Seems to kill moss without staining. Says no raking required and is a lawn feed also.

Would it be a good time of year to try this?

Tried it last year. I think it acted as a fertiliser for the moss as its really thrived since.

No, no difference that I could see but a serious smell of chicken sh1t off it.

Wouldn't use again.

Sorry @Ginger83 I wouldn't know much about it, was just recommended that stuff.

Sulphate of iron is supposed to be good.

My neighbour spent days last summer raking all the moss out of his lawn and left it bare for the summer and reseeded it but its as bad again with moss.

I used it last year and only found it alright. Quite expensive really. This year I used sulphate of iron and 7-6-17 a couple of weeks later and seems to be better.

I raked the lawn also after the sulphate of iron with a towed dethatcher for the ride on and overseeded the lawn too.

The soil has to be getting warm no frost. I used it first time last week and it is fantastic kills the moss and grass grows through the old moss grass lovely and green. But the only place you can get is from Pergola nurseries. They have a great system with fast way courier. I ordered on Monday at my door on Wednesday 11.30am . I live in Tipperary
