What shower make?. It may be just a O ring seal on the filter, isolate the water, ensure power off at pull cord, remove cover, put water back on, see where water is exactly leaking from, if a O ring, a few wraps of PTFE tape will usually fix it.

Its a Mira elite QT, ill take a look.

Whats the worse that could happen here, is a shock from a shower leaking water like a shock from a socket or is it fatal?

I wouldn't get into a shower with a leak, you can get quite a nasty shock even with a perfectly working RCD/RCBO.

Sleeper12 will advise but I think there is a well known fault on those showers where a elbow fails and has to be renewed.

But, yes, have a look anyway, no danger if power off at pullcord, I would also trip the RCBO/MCB at the fuseboard.

Pump elbow. It's actually the most common fault with the QT. Believe it or not they are on the MK3 version of the pump elbow. You would think that if the MK1 & MK2 had to be improved because they failed so much that Mira would replace the part free of charge even if out of warranty. Sadly they don't.

Edit: just reread the opening post. The Mira Elite Qt went out of production 4 years ago in 2019 so it's older than you think.

Running the shower with a leaking pump elbow runs the risk of shorting out the solenoid. This will set you back another €25 to €30 euro to replace on top of the pump elbow. I'd suggest not using the shower until you get the elbow replaced
