Myself and my partner have just reserved our first home in Glendarragh, the new Altidore Gardens development in Newtown.

I live in wicklow hills and walk up and around a fair bit, looks like the showrooms are progressing well. What were the price range for the houses they put up for sale, I registered interested but didnt get any email

Not sure for the full development, we were told mid oct/nov for completion. But im going with at least 4-8 weeks after this to play it safe

Not sure about other prices, we had our eye on one house and just focused on this. From what i know the ones being built now are the 1st phase of people moving in but the showhouse hasnt started yet. (could be wrong)

Think its only phase 3 at the moment, releasing in Sept

Does this development have gas connection? Any direct bus to Dublin or Dublin Airport?

Any other advantages or disadvantages? I am considering this

No gas, only electric with the air to water units.

Dublin 133 bus every hour (when they turn up) to dublin/the airport.

Advantages/disadvantages depend on yourself and you are looking for him a home and area.

Never had an issue with the 133 into town but it has stopped going direct to the airport sadly, it now stops at Bus Aras and has a connecting bus into the airport via the port tunnel.

Now the 133 by passes bray it takes less than a hour into dawson st via the n11 which is a great service

Isn't not having gas an issue? end up paying higher heating costs in winter?

Havent a clue, havent had a house without gas before. Anyone i know with a new build has the same system and its much cheaper for them for the year, and they work from home so would've expected higher costs.

Not sure on delivery dates
