Lodge irish to Spanish bank account

I am currently living in Spain. I got a phone call from Ireland saying ulster bank had issued me a cheque. Can I lodge it to a Spanish bank account?

Probably, but there will be a fee attached (probably €20) and the funds won't be cleared for 28 days.
