How much does it pay for ordinary level and can a primary school teacher apply?

Last I checked it was about €6 a paper and the only qualification needed is being able to operate a computer.

You need a relevant degree. There is also a completion fee of €3 per paper this year, and an added incentive lump sum to all examiners. I haven’t marked JC for a while, but you could expect around €1800 for 26 days work, maybe more or less depending on distance from athlone.

I thought they were using third level students in the past? Has that changed?

I’ve only ever heard of pme 2s being used. Are you thinking of the mocks?

I know a primary school teacher who would like to correct. Irish JC

I have heard of various graduates not just PMEs being used

There’s a difference between a graduate and a 3rd level student. A degree has always been the basic requirement.

Yeah, you need a degree. So I'm guessing primary teachers can (and PMEs have an undergrad so they can as well). For financial reasons I would aim higher than JC ordinary tho...

What is the rough figure you can earn for JC Irish? Higher then

Actually there's only a euro in the difference so you might as well do OL. It's €5 something versus €6 something. And then the extra €3 per 150 bonue or something like that .
