Galway Rapidplay: Saturday 17 June

    The annual Galway Rapidplay will be held this year on Saturday 17 June in the Galway Bridge Centre. Further information about the tournament is available on the tournament webpage, and you can enter from that webpage.  Numbers will be limited to 80; we had more entries than that last year, so you run the risk of being disappointed if you don’t enter soon.

    We have now received the 80 entries which is the venue's capacity, and so the tournament is now full. However if you would like to be placed on a reserve list, you can still send in an entry form from our webpage. It is, I think, very rare for an Irish tournament to reach capacity over three weeks ahead of the event, but the demand for chess in the West of Ireland is obviously huge at the moment.
