Renault Megane Coupé v3 TB interval?

I recently bought a 210k 12 plate Megane: love it altogether.

On checking the oil, coolant and window squirt levels at the weekend, I noted that the TB (tippex on the head cover) was (allegedly last) done at 130k.

Renault's not so helpful advice suggests a mad mileage difference between TB replacements: 60,000 to 160,000 km.

    So, change or not?

Interval is generally 120kkm/6 years - whichever comes first, there are some versions of that engine that have the 160kkm/5 years interval though.

if it was done at 130, then it’d be due at 250. I dunno if I’d trust tippex though..

Cheers, Colm. I'll err on the side of caution, so, and have it replaced at the next service.
