in a new house since the winter time, with air to water heat pump and under floor heating. it's an A rated house, was just wondering when do people turn it off, or would you leave it running constantly at a low temp ? just curious. I know it's all trial and error

Just turn down the thermostats to the required temperature and the underfloor heating will not kick in unless the temperature drops below that set point. The heat pump will still be powered up for the hot water.

yeah just turn it down to a low temperature, its important to leave it on to ensure water circulation etc. Typically I turn the main thermostat down to 12 degrees around now until at least October.
