HKC securecomm subscription

I am just about to set up account details for HKC securecomm. The subscription fee is 9.99euro plus vat per month for the basic service. Everywhere else it seems to be 67 euro per year. Can anyone confirm that there has been a substantial increase for this service please.

I signed up in 2019 and am paying €4.54 plus vat

Mine is €5.58 inc VAT, signed up in 2021 I think.

Can the same subscription be opened/accessed on different phones? the installer guided me through adding the app, but Im sure they directed me through a website using their access? the other person wasnt present at that time.

You can setup multiple users if you have more than one access code. Each one has a different password. Not sure if you can use the same credentials on two different phones though.

I should have said it's now 9.99 euro inc vat. Seems a big increase on what you guys are paying?

I agree, it's a bit of a ripoff even for what I pay to be honest. It sounded like a good idea at the time, plus in the 2 or more years I've had it, I've not actually used it once.

I have it set up on two different phones (same codes). I'm told there is no difficulty adding more if I want to - just a one off cost for each copy of the App (about €8?).

Subscription is €5.58 including VAT.

Mine was 67 for the year. Maybe they charge more if paying monthly?

I think this has changed, I've got the app running on the phone, but I didn't have to pay for the app as such, just the monthly charge to use the sim and HKC network, as far as I know.

I don't think I was offered a choice iirc. I'd much rather pay yearly anyway even if it wasn't any cheaper.

Monthly was the only option.

9.99inc vat for basic.

12.99 inc vat for premium.

I have been been quoted €70 Parton one installer and €100 pa from another.

I am just looking for an upgrade with Wi-Fi access but I don’t want any more bills.

Has anyone signed up with HKC recently that can advise.

any options recommended other than HKC ?

Hi, can anyone give any advice? We have our alarm over ten years and our alarm company(non monitored and they've never serviced our alarm unless we pay extra) want €270 for HKC subscription for the year. We don't know the engineers code would an alarm specialist be able to reset it? Is that the best way to do this and then sign up to HKC ourselves?
