Heading to Tenerife, live in Republic but flying from Belfast

Cant seem to find if allowed to get travel insurance from the companies over here to depart from Belfast, the JET2 (who we are going with) travel insurance says have to be UK resident

    Any ideas?

Any insurer who writes travel insurance in the Irish market should be happy to quote.

(PS: You're not departing from Belfast. You're departing from wherever you live, travelling by (I assume) road to Belfast and then onward by air to Tenerife. But insurers are unlikely to want that degree of detail — just your travel dates and the place(s) you will be visiting.)

You buy travel insurance. You enter your permanent residence as Ireland on the application for cover. It does not matter where you travel from or to.Most travel policies seperate the world into all countries or excluding the US of A
