Anyone able to recommend a decent pubdj in the sun to watch Cheltenham. Not picky at all, Spain, Portugal, the island's etc ideally somewhere, you can have a pint outside, while watching the racing.

Pub doesn't need to take bets, can do that on my phone.

Not bothered heading over to the festival this year, so might as well make it a week in the sun.

    Cheers

    Hi mate,

Fid it for the first time this year, Tenerife for 3 of the four days.

Pubs were almost all set up for it, most had cash bookies. We watched all days in the Skybar, on the beachfront and racing on about 20 tellys and a big screen.

When Shishkin lost on Thursday the bloke taking bets got all cocky, waving money and saying "it's great to be a bookie"

Then a stag party from Scotland got a tip for a horse in 2.30 at Down Royal, everyone in place backed it and it won on the bridle at 3s.

The bookie took no more bets that day!!!

Cheers, heard Costa Adeje is nice too.

That looks like exactly the sort of place I was looking for. Cheers.

Went to Lanzarote last year for Cheltenham. It was fine. Paddy's Point Pub, Puerto Del Carmen. Cash bookmaker there, very efficient. Thinking of going to Alicante next year to try it out. Easier and cheaper flight.
