Electric fans - can they be fixed

I have two electric fans. Both stopped working at the same time so I imagine there was a power surge or something that banjaxed them. Fuses fine. Chords fine. But when I turn them on there isn’t a geek out of either of them.

I’m in Kerry and wondering if there’s anywhere that fixes these things and if it’s even worth it - they cost about 70 quid - it just seems like a waste to dump them. Most electronic repair shops seem to be geared towards phones and laptops rather than something as basic as a fan.

    Many thanks.

Are these desk fans? Probably not worth even looking at.
