    We are thinking of getting an au pair to mind our two babies . They will be working 4.5 days of the week. They will be doing the usual jobs changing nappies feeding playing etc...

    We are thinking of paying them 220 euro a week and they will be fed and be living with us . Is this legal as its a cultural exchange . I know you are meant to pay them minimum wage but that works out at over 500 euro a month and wouldnt be worth it .

    My question is would you get in trouble if you didnt pay them the minimum wage?
