Sun holiday recommendations?

    Hey all,

    Myself and the missus are looking to book our first sun holiday for 10/11 nights at the start of August and we're not sure where would be the best place to go? Any recommendations for nice accommodation for two people in early 30s that's self catering, with pool and close to beach, airport and not far from nightlife etc etc with a budget from €1800-€2300

    North West Portugal. Porto region.

    Really nice weather at that time of year, not unbearably hot like the Algarve.

    English is the second language in the area.


    Good vibes at night. And very well priced

    I would second this option . Hire a car & drive up the Duoro Valley. We visited a fantastic place called Pinhao, did a river cruise there - stunning area.

    Northern ibiza is beautiful. If you're looking for somewhere cheap Puerto Rico in Gran canaria is as cheap as it was 10 years ago and you are pretty much guaranteed amazing weather.

    Why not south of Italy?

    Nice beaches in Sorrento, here is the list of hotels

    But prices are high in August, maybe Canary
