Hi all, I'm opening this as it would be great to hear how a few people get on as this competition progresses.

Got ranked 533 for Dublin. From reading threads from prior competitions it seems they've interviewed that high previously. Curious to know if they'll be taking less in with this being a midyear competition or not

I'm about the same, here's hoping they keep the interviews going. Are the 530 odd ahead all applying for roles in Dublin, or are some applying for roles down the country?

I’m ranked 366 for Dublin. I have an interview for the permanent panel so not relying just on this but wonder how long they’ll take to get to my number.

Thanks. It was the 2022 dublin only panel, not sure if that was the one you meant. My OOM for that one was 1574.

I'm in the 200s for Dublin although I'm not living in Dublin so it would be a hefty commute in the shortterm.

I ranked 107 for Meath. Does this mean I'm unlikely to get called for an interview? This is my first time to apply to the civil service so I'm not sure how it all works.

I have an interview coming up for Cork, oom in 200’s. I applied for the permanent role but this might be nice way to dip my toe in the water.

I'm in the 490s in Dublin. Genuinely surprised it happened so quickly. I thought my oom was too high to be interviewed as there is the other TCO panel as well.

It's a nice way to try out a department and see how you get on. If you don't like it and the other competition comes good, off you go.

Got 250 for Dublin, had interview about 2 weeks back.

Just looking for advice/opinions here but - can I ask what employment status many of you are at (if currently employed) and if you'd consider a TCO role over your current line of work? My industry is fairly unstable and TCO would be a big paycut, but I'm eager to move into the CS and aware there's a chance TCO roles could become permanent if you perform well and dept requests to retain you. Plus previous CS experience always looks good when trying out in the permanent panels. 🤞

My oom was in the 320s for Dublin and I just received an email today to send back scanned documents and Garda vetting. Anyone who has done their Garda vetting, how long did it take before you got word of a position? Thanks

Vetting can supposedly take 5-10 working days. It's been nearly 6 for me but still waiting to hear back.

Has anyone been placed or gotten word of their position? I've colleagues on the permanent CO panel who're just now getting assigned so I wonder if they're sorting the permanent positions before temps...

Why are they taking so long like I did 4 months last year in DSp doing something for Ukrainians and we started working straight away from the 8th of May
