Hi - looking to organise a gift for someone, mutiple people have given me cash and I need to organise a prepaid card. I was looking at Swirl prepaid Master card. I think this would be a single use thing - or at least just to use it until the balance is used up. Rather this than a gift card to ensure they can spend anywhere.

Bad idea as any misuse of the card could see you fall foul of the the MLA rules since would be registered to you. Unless you can get a card that is completely independent of you, I would not do it.
