I bought a house where the previous resident was with Bord Gáis Energy for both Gas and Electricity.

In my first week I switched to Flogas.

Flogas said that there would be no service interruption and that I did not have to contact the previous supplier (who I had no contract with).

Now I have received a Disconnection Notice from BGE, as ostensibly they are unsure if there is a new occupant.

Attempts to contact them by phone and their website have so far been unsuccessful.

What should I do here and what should I expect to happen?
