Apologies if I am in the wrong tread.

I need to get a decent reasonably priced PDF reader/editor. PDF xChange was on my last laptop. I looked into buying it and it is now annual subscription.

I am looking for something that is a one off payment, suggestions?

I’m currently testing an online editor that I mainly need for converting. It has a monthly subscription, so I'm not sure if it will work for you. I often need to convert MOBI to PDF https://pdfguru.com/mobi-to-pdf and this editor supports a wide range of formats. In terms of editing, it’s also very good and has many features. It’s convenient for me to annotate files with it. As for a one-time payment editor, I’ll ask my friends, but I think most of them offer subscriptions.
