Today it’s 25 years since stone cold Steve Austin beat Shawn Michaels in the main event of WrestleMania 14 in Boston.

The match was as good as could be given both guys weren’t at full health and HBK’s back goes on him after a turnbuckle spot and as someone who’s had back issues not nearly as bad, I don’t think like some do that he was faking the back injury. The knee injury and other stuff ? He was fuller than a Christmas turkey but not 25 years ago.

So what are peoples memories of this night and do you think this night and era was a double edged sword for pro wrestling ?
