Bringing a second mains water feed into the building

    Hi,

My existing stopcock is in the kitchen and I am installing a ground floor ensuite bathroom at the far end of the house, far from existing indirect water feed and hot water cylinder etc. I am planning on installing a Rinnai gas water heater that runs off mains water pressure. There's a mains feed that runs past the back of the house (underground) to a shed that I was planning on teeing into. I will need to bore through the slab and the external cavity block wall to reach this. This will probably mean breaching the DPM so I was planning on coring through slab and external wall, then installing a conduit and finally passing the new (insulated) water pipe through this and sealing a new patch of DPM around the pipe.

Any advice on whether this is the correct way of doing this or of any alternative ways?

    Thanks in advance.
