Replace a GSM intercom..

Hi Folks, GSM intercom at gate is dead, is it DIYable to replace? Opened it up and its just 24Vac for power and a NO contact, if I remove the SIM and get a new unit is it just plug and play? Anyone recommend a replacement? Thanks
