Motorola edge 20 lite no internet hotspot

    Got this phone at Christmas and only recently tried the hotspot, the hotspot turs on and the other device connect to it but there ais no internet on the connected device, anybody experience this before and how did u solve it?

    What I know - Motorola edge 20 lite / Android 12 / Will create a Hotspot / Can connect to the hotspot / The connected device says "connected no internet".

    What I've tried - Switched it off and on lol / Tried multiple devices all will connect but no internet / put sim into another phone and created a hotspot that had internet / tried 3rd party hotspot apps

    Last resort is factory resetting the phone which I don't want to do.

    Does the phone have mobile data working when WiFi is disabled?


    Is the APN configured correctly?

    Yea, the data is working fine and I have checked the APN
