Am hoping to be in Cork City sometime in August and hope to be able to do some light spinning. Does anyone one know any good spots around Douglas or thereabouts to spin for bass, mackerel, pollack?

While there's usually bass up Blackrock/Mahon side you would probably be better off heading for Crosshaven/Weavers Point.
