Esta visa weaver ok if attending a conference

Hi, I’m attending a conference in the summer for a couple of days in summer. Basically fly in and out for it. No extending stay. Flights booked. Will the normal visa waiver do or do I need a different visa? Not speaking or anything. Just sitting there listening so not getting paid. Thanks

Still need an ESTA as far as I know. For 20 quid better to have it than be turned back at airport.

Using ESTA and Visa Waiver Program is fine for attending a conference.
