    Whenever I watched programs on the RTE player it was always ad free. Yesterday and today there are ads, has anyone else noticed this.

    I’m afraid it’s always had adverts.

    I do have a particular pet peeve though, about the pre-roll adverts on the live stream. No other method of watching RTE live makes you watch pre roll adverts. I reserve special distaste for pre-roll promos for RTE’s own programmes. I don’t mind them on on-demand content, especially if it’s free, but pre-roll adverts on the live stream make you miss some of the programme. Paid for by our license fee…
