Android Auto - cant send new whatsapp messages by voice

    When I try this I get a message saying "I'm not seeing a whatsapp number for that contact".

    I can receive whatsapps onto android auto and I can respond to them, just cant send new ones. Its a known fault I have come across it online but cant find solution. Car is Cupra Born and phone is Samsung S21, I have switched phones to another samsung and it worked for a little while but back to the same now. Function I have grown to like so would like it back please!

    I may get my hands on a non samsung phone and try it out. Anyone come across this in other cars/with other phones and know of any solution? I might even try iphone and apple carplay if I can get it to work

    Solved it - samsung UI 5.1 has a bug. 1st phone updated a month ago, stopped working, switched phones and it worked. 2nd phone updated 2 days ago and again, stopped working. Now I have another samsung running 4.1 and it works fine
