Activation Review Meeting

So, I'm a bit confused really. I've been registered to attend an Activation Review Meeting in conjuction with some jobs fair but it isn't my local intreo office ? if it was the same town that my intreo office is in I'd understand , I've also been getting letters not from my local Intreo, anyone else in the same boat ?
