Back to 2023........and I'm sure RTE management regret "luring" Ray D'Arcy back to RTE Radio 1.
From memory he was paid big money to come back, along with bringing both his wife and producer to RTE's payroll. His television career has petered out, his listenership numbers are significantly low and most people are unimpressed with his radio work.
