Attic insulation circulation gap

Any idea if leaving no gap between 300mm rockwool and chipboard attic floor will definitely create condensation on the floor and problems down the line? The wool I bought goes right up to the board, so it's a bit of a pain to create a gap, but I'll do it if leaving no gap is a definite "no no". Cheers

It will make do difference but make sure to leave sufficient ventilation gap (50mm) between the top of the insulation and the roof felt at the eves.
