Need help on identifying a connection

Asked our plumber to install a spur off the water mains under the sink so I can use it to connect a garden hose and then that to a power washer.

Pic of what he installed below, it has threads on the outside of it so is some sort of female connection.

What size and type of connection do I need that will screw onto those threads and will also allow me to connect a garden hose at the other end, is there a name on what I need?

Looks like the standard 3/4 in screw fitting for the likes of a hozelock snap on fitting

if that is on an external wall why not drill a hole through and fit an outdoor tap

longterm I wouldn't trust running a hose from that out to garden- over time - or if you pulled too hard or someone tripped on the hose it could break seals on those unsecured looking pipe joints.

an outdoor standard hose tap or hose reel on a wall would be much better.

    “Roll it back”

unfortunately its a shared wall and not external

yeah I get you, its not ideal. But Ive gone with it as its only for powerwashing once a year in spring. Installing an outdoor tap was a much bigger job with kitchen cabinets in the way on the other side of the external wall so this was a better solution given Im only using it once a year.

Thanks for all the help lads, will see if I can get that hose connection in Chadwcks later, if not I'll find it online in Screwfix or similar

ok - not being funny or anything - but make sure you, or anyone who uses that connector, knows where the mains water shutoff valve is - could be water everywhere if under strain of the hose that pipe bends / breaks.

At the very least I would have looked for something like this:

at the very least put one of these on it when not in use . but if it was me i would take off the kicker boards at the bottom of presses, and tread a roll of 1/2 inch qualplex down by that waste pipe to the external wall drill out through wall and install a tap outside
