Hi all, I've noticed that the outside ESB Meter Box is not sealed by any means and it is leading to a very cold entryway.

Is it a DIY job or should I contact ESB? In case it is a DIY, I was thinking of adding some fireproof silicon all around. is it safe to do?

    Any advice is much appreciated

This is not the ESB's responsibility.

My sister's house had the same issue. I resolved this by squirting expanding foam behind the meter box and finished the job with silicon sealant.
