    Hey,

The first iteration of https://mynest.ie/ is now complete.

    Iteration one features delivered:

    • Listing details, with price changes, sale history.
    • Dashboard showing weekly trends
    • Relisted properties
    • Property price register
    • Search

Some features to deliver in next iteration:

    • Rolling listing figures (available stock) - both national and county level.
    • Improved integration with property price register..
    • Site styling revamp.
    • Search property price register.

If you have any suggestions for features, please let me know and they'll be considered for the next dev cycle,

    Thanks,

    d mc

    Great site!

A great feature is the asking vs sold price on the PPR page. A good feature would be an analytic page with charts regarding PPR price trends and asking vs sold price trends.

    Hey, great site.

You asked for ideas. Here is mine.

Different users at different times may find a watchlist of their selected mynest.ie listings to be useful. It would be useful to get the current status of a list of properties to see quickly the current status of those properties as known to the mynest.ie database.

I was thinking something like the following:

                              My Watchlist Add

Listing Eircode Current Status Change Date Other Listings
    (r) 123456 (i) aaa aaaa xxxxxxxxxxxxxx dow dd mmm yyyy xxx

There would be only one line detail for each listing.
The "Add" would be a button that allows a user to add mynest.ie listing ids to the list.
Those ids would be stored on a mynest.ie watchlist cookie on the user's machine.

Clicking the (r) would remove that listing id from the user's mynest.ie watchlist cookie on the user's machine.
The listing is the mynest.ie listing id number. This would be a clickable link back to the mynest.ie information about that property.
The current mynest.ie information about a property could have a toggle that adds (add this to your watchlist) or removes (remove this from your watchlist) that property from that user's mynest.ie watchlist cookie.
Hovering over the (i) would show a cool tip with the mynest.ie description for that property.
If the Eircode is not known, then show "not provided".
Current status is something like "Created" or "Price drop" or "Sale Agreed" or "Sold" or whatever.
If this date is within the last 30 days, highlight it, in bold or in orange bold or some other applicable way.
The change date is the day of week and date that event happened.
If there are any former listings, this is set to Yes otherwise No (or None Identified).

Include a few words about any limitations of the data (similar to the few words in the "sale history" section of a mynest.ie listing.

Of course, some of the user interface stuff above would need to be better than expressed above but you get the underlying idea.

    Cheers.
