    I went in to lodge money into my EBS mortgage account this morning. They wouldn't take card. I'll have to go back tomorrow with the cash. I find this very surprising. Why do they not accept card?

    Assuming it wasn't an EBS card, for them to accept card they would need a card machine, and I'm not aware of any bank that will accept card to make lodgements to accounts outside of collections.

    If it was an EBS card - can you not just transfer the funds online?

    Ah it's a bit awkward but thanks benny. Yeah I don't have an EBS card. I didn't know that about lodgements. I do now.
