House insurance review.

Reviewing house insurance just like everyone else who has been contacted and advised to do so by the insurers. I have just noted from SCSI.IE table of rebuilding costs that a 3 bedroom semi-detached house costs more to rebuild than a 4 bed. Why is this ?

economies of scale to an extent i would say. I think that the bigger the house the bigger discounts and bulk buys can be done do the overall square meterage is cheaper.

I increased mine from €280k to €400k and it didn't make a huge difference to my premium.
