Premium phone line that gives you BTC in return

I remember reading about a premium rate phone line that you call and it gives you BTC in return.

Does anyone remember this service and is it still live?.

That sounds like a bizarre concept. Would you not just take the money you were going to spend on the premium rate phone calls and buy Bitcoin?

It's prepay phone credit that will otherwise not be used. Builds up every month. This was posted originally on a thread about how you could do something with unused Three network credit. That thread is long since dead and I can't find it.

I use to do that, your 20e credit worked out about 12e in BTC or something like that after fees. I can't remember the site.

iirc it was called Mobile recharge. Not sure of rates

I used to use coingate to convert phone credit but they stopped offering the service

I used 3 credit on Coingate at the start of 2017 bull, I actually made a decent profit from 20euro a month, think I bought ETH with it but the 3 stopped it after about 6 months

I just tried to use the Paxful Mobile recharge option and unfortunately it is all vendors who can only use specific African telecom companies.

Sadly, nobody on there I can find offers the option to charge three network.
