You hear some horror stories. My Last principal got a teacher to lie about a colleague and then brought a charge against him at a BOM meeting.

The board which usually supported the Principal rejected the charge.

I'm also curious if a principal ever successfully got a staff member in your school to leave who he didn't like . For largely personal reasons

Another guy I know pops into classrooms regularly which is not too strange but he also goes through exam corrections. He will check your corrections.

If he is micromanaging like that he must not have much time left for what a principal should really be doing....leading.

You'd be surprised how many micro managers exist out there

I'm primary so it might be a bit different . I don't see any issue with a principal coming into a class. I feel it's very important for any principal to get a feel for the situation on the ground. The principal leads teaching and learning, so need to be be very au fait with what is happening.

To be fair a Principal is entitled to come into a class but so long as there is no ulterior motive. That this happens to a number of teachers otherwise it coulds be constructed as bullying

I have heard of Principals going through exam corrections too

Any principal going through exam corrections or sitting through classes is clearly not doing their actual job or running the school. I'd have no idea how a principal would find the time to visit a class. Maybe in a small rural school or something. And principal I've ever seen is mad busy with meetings and basically acting like a CEO of a company.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue
