I bank with perk tsb and revolut. I need to pay for a car 16000£ . What's the most cost effective to pay in sterling?

I used Wise in the past, worked out a few hundred cheaper than the rate bank was giving. Word of warning you need to verify identify beforehand which can take 24 to 48 hours, I believe that's standard practice now across the board.

Forget revolut, they'd probably lock your account for a lodgement like that

As above, wise is probably best

Thanks for the suggestion. I will check it out. Brexit has made things a pain in the ass.
