Can't get over how amateurish their current affairs programmes are every time I come across them. I know Primetime has the odd coup, but the presenters and the style of presenting is woeful.

The Cathy Hannon Show wasn't any better.

Excellent CA output from RTÉ. Morning Ireland, Claire Byrne, News at One, Drivetime on the radio.

Prime Time Investigates, Upfront, world class news encompassing world and local issues.

Then you get to the archives, the documentaries, the coverage of GAA.

A properly funded PSB is at the very cornerstone of a social democracy.
