    They're from China, like 99% of all phones. Their decent enough, and considerably cheaper than Samsung for much of the same spec, similar to xiaomi or the like.

    Very good brand, same company as one plus, realme, vivo. Used one few weeks ago, great value

    The only brands to keep away from are Huawei or honor due to trumps Google store ban. Or really cheap nasty stuff eg oukitel

    Oppo used to be amazing, now they're ok. They started like OnePlus really being disruptors but then to appeal to a bigger market they watered down their phones.

    When this came out it was a really fantastic phone for the price. One of the first with truly fast charging (VOOC).
