    My username has been changed to random words. I never asked for this account to be closed and the new random names are linked to my account anyways in that my profile pic, sig, and posts are all visible.

    And all other posts of mine also have mad names. I think I know why it's happening but I didn't want it to.

    Unless Boards people have far reaching powers and can hear my conversations and read my thoughts.

    Apologies, but I have no idea what has happened. The way your account appears in AH is along the lines of ones that have had their accounts anonymised

    I'm going to try one thing which is to re-save your account. I suspect that may not work and it;s something the office will have to deal with when Mike is back on Monday

    It won't let me do that as there is a 20 character limit on usernames. That may be something to do with this as your username carried over from the old platform is longer than that

    I realise it may not be palatable, but if there is another username which does not break that limit I can try and change it. Otherwise it is a matter of waiting until Mike is back online
