Internal Walls Plasterboard

    Dumb question but here goes

One of the bedroom walls, which is the one connected to the external wall, has what seems like quite brittle plasterboard. It's all painted over but feels like I could easily punch through it or break it.

Who do I need to basically repair it? Is it a plaster who can refit new plasterboards if needed and skim the wall. I'm just looking for this wall to be done.

Time to put childish things aside.

It's difficult to tell without actually seeing the wall. It sounds to be either a poorly finished piece of plasterboard or, it could be a solid, plastered wall that the skim coat is coming away from, leaving thin, hollow pockets of plaster.

How old is the house, is there any damp or condensation? Maybe you or a friend know of a builder or tradesman who would have a look at it for you, and give their opinion and price for remedying it.

Thanks. I do think it feels a bit damp so was wondering if it's just best to try and replace it. Thanks again, I'll ask around
