Heat pump with stove

I'm looking at doing some upgrades on the house.

It's a c3 ber for what that's worth. 80's build, cavity walls yet to be filled, suspended timber floor on most of ground floor.

Looking at that suspended floor I'm estimating I could put in floor insulation and ufh without too much cost.

I'm thinking then of going for a heat pump, and because I've a good source on timber, running it at a relatively low temp with the stove maybe on a back boiler to the existing rads.

Does that make sense? I know heat pumps can be expensive as a primary source but if I ran it cooler and consistently using the stove to do the most heating in the evenings.
