Cost of Domain Names - ease of switching?

I have a few domain names registered with a provider. One .ie domain is due for renewal next week. The cost for two years is €92.24, including VAT. This seems excessive. Who are others using? How easy is it to transfer to another host, if cheaper? Thanks. D.

There are plenty of providers out there, I've rarely seen big differences between their prices, but you might get cheaper.
Maxer (formerly Spiral Hosting), Blacknight, Hosting Ireland and Register 365 are firms that I have heard of.

Very easy to change. I do it most years and take advantage of who ever has years introduction offer for .ie this year it’s blacknight, previously it was hosting ireland.
