Android Auto for Audi A3

    Hello,

    I have just purchased an Audi A3 2010 which is a Jap import, it has the reversing camera and the screen is already there. That is about it as far as functionality goes! no radio, bluetooth, gps or anything else.

    My question is, do I need a whole new auto android kit or can they just jerry rig whats there with the appropriate SD card?

    And if it does require a whole new kit, where can I get this done in Dublin? ICE Systems in Rathmines came recommended by a friend. Im based in South Dublin.

    ICE are in Ranelagh, on the Sandford Road, very good & very experienced.

    Unit being from the Japanese version of the car might mean you have to replace it or could otherwise make things more complicated but if you ask them in ICE they’ll be able to tell you exactly what would work in the car.

    Thanks TherapyBoy, as it happens I just rang them. I got an eye watering quote. Well for me it was eye watering! I was expecting it to come in at probably half what they quoted me but they were so nice and knowledgeable and there was no hard sell. In fact, the opposite, they told me to go get other quotes and what to be wary of!
